How to Live Fully & Die Peacefully: a Practical Workshop Exploring Life's Ultimate Transition with Venerable Amy Miller - April 27-28, 2013

27/04/2013 09:00
28/04/2013 17:00

This workshop runs on Sat Apr 27 from 9am to 5pm, and on Sun Apr 28 from 1 to 5pm.

Through exploring our relationship with death, we not only lessen our fear of dying, but we can be more present in our everyday lives. Facing death can be a great motivator for spiritual practice, can lend significant meaning to our lives, and can help us cultivate a peaceful death.

This insightful workshop combines lecture, discussion, meditation and quiet reflection, as well as an explanation of the death process found in Tibetan Buddhism and will address questions such as:

• What is it to die without regrets?
• How best do we help loved ones come to terms with dying?
• How do we get ourselves ready for this major transition with peace and integrity?
