Profound Perspectives: Painting the Layers Within Workshop

The Centre for Compassion & Wisdom, Burlington Ontario Canada is pleased to offer this weekend workshop:

Sat. January 14 & Sun. January 15 from 9 am to 5 pm

Share a playful and meaningful weekend that you will never forget with Dekyi-Lee, an artist, and former Tibetan Buddhist nun. Dekyi-Lee offers this workshop, originally from Findhorn Foundation (Scotland), once every two or three years.

Anyone can paint from the inside out. You will leave this workshop with a 22 x 30” painting in water-soluble gouache paint that will surprise you, whether you are an established artist or completely new at this. Come open, come loving and willing to experiment!

This expanding and profound two days combines inner listening, meditation and transformation with a four-layered painting process; music; meditation; movement; experiences in nature and with animals;gentle sharing; humour and laughter. You will loosen up, accessing deeper levels of wisdom naturally.

We are roughing it a little more than our normal venue in a wonderful farm setting in a warm, heated
barn with hay and Medicine horses and other animals in a separate part of the barn. (Check you don’t
have allergies to these). Chairs are provided, but please bring your own cushions if you prefer to paint on
the floor.

COST: $240 (includes art materials & facilitation; does not include lunch)
LUNCH: Please bring your own lunch each day - ready to eat as a microwave is not accessible.
